Health Needs Assessments (HNA) are a systematic process that identifies the health and service gaps within a specific population or community, taking into account social, economic, cultural, and behavioural factors alongside public health data. The goal is to understand the health challenges, prioritize interventions, and allocate resources effectively to improve overall population health and reduce health inequalities.
